SecureNotes Terms of Use

Last updated October 9, 2026

Agreement

By downloading or using SecureNotes you agree to these terms and to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (“Apple EULA”). If these terms conflict with the Apple EULA, these terms apply to the extent permitted. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

License

XIONG ZHANZHI grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the app on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or distribute the app except as allowed by law.

Your content

You own everything you create in the app. Your content is stored on your device and, if enabled, in your iCloud account; we do not have a copy. You are responsible for keeping backups. Because the password vault is encrypted with a key we never receive, we cannot recover your vault or reset your master password.

Results from scanning and text recognition may be inaccurate. Check important information before relying on it. The app does not provide financial, legal or tax advice.

Acceptable use

Do not use the app in violation of any law, to infringe others’ rights, or to interfere with the app or its services.

Updates and availability

We may update, change or stop offering features or the app at any time. We will try to give notice of significant changes.

Disclaimer

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we do not guarantee that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, XIONG ZHANZHI is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app and in-app purchases in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the country where the developer is established, except where the law of your country of residence requires otherwise.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date above shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the app after changes means you accept them.
